Most changes don’t start big.
They start small.
So small they’re easy to overlook.
A slightly longer pause.
A breath that goes a little deeper.
Not reacting quite as quickly.
Nothing dramatic.
Nothing that feels like progress.
It might not even feel like anything happened.
But something did.
In that moment, the system didn’t do exactly what it always does.
Even if it was subtle.
Even if it didn’t last.
That matters.
Because patterns don’t change all at once.
They shift through repetition.
Not by replacing them directly.
But by something else showing up…
again and again.
A little more space.
A little less urgency.
A slightly different response.
At first, it doesn’t hold.
The system falls back.
Goes back to what it knows.
That’s normal.
It takes time for something new to feel stable.
Time for it to feel available.
Time for it to feel like an option.
So the same small shift has to happen more than once.
And then again.
Not perfectly.
Not consistently.
Just… enough.
Over time, the system starts to recognize it.
Not as something unusual.
As something possible.
And then eventually…
something it can rely on.
That’s when patterns begin to change.
Not because the old ones were forced out.
But because something else…
has been there long enough
to take their place.
