You try. It doesn’t work.
They reach over. “Here, you just need to—”
“I know.”
You try again. This time it’s worse.
You laugh a little. “Apparently I’m terrible at this.”
“It’s your second try.”
You know that.
But somehow, not being good at it yet already feels like failing.
