You walk into the restaurant with a few friends. There are plenty of empty tables.
Someone chooses one near the middle of the room. Everyone starts sitting down.
You take the chair at the end.
From there you can see the entrance. You can see most of the room. Nobody has to move if you want to get up.
Someone asks if you want to switch. Their chair is more comfortable.
“No, I’m good.”
A few minutes later, you’re looking at the menu.
