Everything gets on my nerves.

People talking too loudly. Someone walking too slowly in front of me. The phone ringing when I’m trying to do something. Somebody asking me a question when the answer should be obvious.

Little things. Things I know shouldn’t bother me as much as they do.

Some days I can let them go. Other days, everything seems to irritate me.

Someone chews too loudly and I want to leave the room. The internet is slow and I’m ready to throw the computer out the window. Someone interrupts me and I snap at them.

I tell myself I need to be more patient. Stop letting stupid things bother me. Lighten up.

And sometimes I do.

But then there are days when it feels like the entire world is getting on my nerves.
