People are assholes.
They’re selfish. Inconsiderate. They don’t listen. They take advantage if you give them the chance.
I’ve learned not to expect too much. At work, there’s always somebody who makes things difficult. Families are even worse. And relationships? Eventually you find out who someone really is.
I’m not saying everyone is terrible. I’ve met some good people.
But sooner or later, most people disappoint you.
Maybe that’s just how people are.
